All Lenders
Lenders throughout the state are NIFA's key partners in many of our financing programs, from homeownership to infrastructure development to agricultural loans. Click on the links below to learn about the various NIFA programs lenders may become involved in. A lender must be "NIFA-approved" to participate in the Single Family Mortgage Program. This program, with the support of our participating lenders, has been able to provide to the citizens of Nebraska a variety of zero or low down payment loan products. There are many benefits to being a NIFA participating lender, one of which is a net profit margin of 1.75% per loan closed under the program. In addition, NIFA loans can help banks to meet CRA lending requirements and provide financing for communities to stabilize neighborhoods by increasing homeownership opportunities.
Participating NIFA Lenders (Single Family)
The NIFA Single Family Mortgage Program offers participating lenders access to a 24/7 internet-based system for processing NIFA loan reservations. This system features on-line program documents and forms, manuals and lender management reports. NIFA continues to pursue new initiatives to make the Single Family process an efficient one for our participating lenders. Be sure to attend NIFA's lender training for the latest information.
NIFA Videos
NIFA also offers an introductory video for new and approved lenders called Nebraska Lenders: A Class Act. This video may be helpful when training new or updating current loan officers on NIFA's single family program.
