NIFA Accepting Applications For Section 1602 Funds

NIFA announces that applications are being accepted for Section 1602 funds. Applications are due in NIFA’s office at 1230 ‘O’ Street, Lincoln, NE no later than 5:00 p.m. on April 23, 2010. Approximately $3 million is available in this round. To be eligible for an award of Section 1602 funds, the development must be receiving a 2010 award in the 2010 Round Two application cycle or CRANE program for 9% Low Income Housing Tax Credits (LIHTC). Therefore, developments that have submitted a current LIHTC application in CRANE or 2010 LIHTC Round Two may simultaneously apply for Section 1602 funds.
