NIFA continues to monitor the situation of the COVID-19 pandemic with the health and safety of our staff, partners, and community members as our top priority.
At this time, the NIFA offices in Lincoln and Omaha remain open and we are conducting business. However, NIFA has suspended all work-related travel by its employees and in-person meetings with those we serve until further notice. In person visitors to either NIFA office are discouraged.
If the situation arises for the Homeownership Team to perform work duties remotely, we have a plan in place to continue with program updates, loan file reviews, pipeline management and technical support for Participating Lenders. We will communicate the plan immediately if this situation occurs.
