The Nebraska Farm Bureau Federation is Nebraska's largest voluntary agricultural organization and represents more than 60,000 member families in all 93 Nebraska counties. The farmers and ranchers who belong to this organization raise various livestock and grow a variety of crops such as corn, soybeans, wheat, etc. The Farm Bureau Federation brings farmers and ranchers together to discuss challenges, identify solutions, and advocate for specific issues.
Founded in 1913, Nebraska Farmers Union is a grassroots-driven, general farm organization that is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life and economic well-being of family farmers and ranchers, and their rural communities.
The Nebraska Sustainable Agriculture Society is a member-based, grassroots, nonprofit, farmer-led organization dedicated to sustainable farming and foods in Nebraska. NSAS promotes agriculture and food systems that build healthy land, people, communities, and quality of life for present and future generations. NSAS provides numerous resources, and educational and networking opportunities for farmers across Nebraska.
