On March 17, 2020, NIFA released the 2020 Draft Profile of Nebraska Demographics, Economics and Housing Report for Public Review. Undertaken by Western Economic Services LLC, the 2020 edition builds on the previous 17 years of the study. Once again demographic, economic, and housing data is examined on different levels: including county, regional and selected cities in the state.
The interactive companion to the Profile, the Dashboard now includes data for all of the cities in Nebraska as well as more interactive charts and comprehensive housing affordability strategy (CHAS) information.
You can access the NE Profile Dashboard from NIFA's webpage at the www.nifa.org or nestats.org
If you are a developer, community-based organization, elected official, or interested in the future of Nebraska and your local community, please check out this wealth of information!
Please submit questions or comments concerning this Draft to John Turner, Manager of Community Development and Research at outreach@nifa.org by Friday, March 27, 2020. The final 2020 Profile of Nebraska Report will be released later in April 2020.
