Economist Danushka Nanayakkara to Present “The Housing  Outlook” at the Housing Innovation Marketplace Conference in La Vista on March 19, 2019.  
Nebraska home builders invited as special guests.

The Nebraska Investment Finance Authority (“NIFA”) announced that Danushka Nanayakkara, Assistant Vice President for Forecasting and Analysis for the National Association of Home Builders, will present “The Housing Outlook” during the opening session of NIFA’s Housing Innovation Marketplace Conference on Tuesday, March 19, 2019 at 8:30 a.m. at the LaVista Conference Center.

As a special salute to Nebraska’s home builders, NIFA invites all builder, associate, and affiliate members of area Home Builder Associations (NAHB, NSHBA, MOBA, HBAL and others) to attend the opening session. A complimentary buffet breakfast begins at 7:45 a.m.  

Ms. Nanayakkara’s remarks will include observations on the economic outlook, forecasts and what to expect in the housing market and housing construction industry for 2019.

NIFA is hosting the presentation in conjunction with the annual Housing Innovation Marketplace Conference. Home builders who are not registered for the Conference, but who would like to attend Ms. Nanayakkara’s presentation and the breakfast, are invited to register at no charge by sending an email confirmation (with name and builder association affiliation) to Elizabeth Fimbres at outreach@nifa.org.  For those registered by March 15, 2019, credentials for the breakfast and presentation may be picked up at the Conference reception desk the day of the event.
