The National Council of State Housing Agencies (NCSHA) released the following information, showcasing the amount of funds state programs have paid in assistance to cover back rent and utilities, helping households avoid evictions and homelessness. Nationwide, it is projected that more than $1 billion in assistance will be paid in July.
