Tax Credit Compliance Specialist
This position is responsible for evaluating multi-family housing developments with respect to compliance with the federal Low Income Housing Tax Credit program. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, on-site inspections of apartments, reviewing tenant files, calculating tenant income and eligibility, documenting findings, communicating with property owners and managers and analyzing financial data.
Desired knowledge, skills and abilities: excellent math and writing skills, ability to analyze, underwrite and audit tenant files, excellent customer service skills, ability to use computer software programs and web-based tools, and ability to travel occasionally.
