Homeownership Compliance Specialist - APPLY HERE

The Homeownership Compliance Specialist reviews submitted loan files, communicates with potential homebuyers, existing borrowers, lenders, new borrowers, and real estate agents, conducts program eligibility reviews, and assista with Homebuyer Assistance loan releases.

Preferred Talents and Abilites:

  • Knowledge of residential mortgage loan procedures
  • Knowledge of secondary market requirements for Convential, FHA, VA, and RD mortgage loans
  • Ability to professionally communicate, verbally and written, to lender partners, real estate professionals, borrowers, and other housing-related organizations.
  • Outstanding customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and multi-task.
  • Must maintain confidentiality, always.
  • Bilingual preferred, not required.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in residential mortgage lending, preferred
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel required.
  • Experience with NIFA programs and processes are helpful, not required.

Tax Credit Compliance Specialist - APPLY HERE

The Tax Credit Compliance Specialist is responsible for evaluating the management practices of multi-family housing developments to ensure owner’s compliance with the requirements of the affordable housing program. This evaluation process will include evaluation of compliance with respect to the requirements of the federal Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program.

Preferred Talents and Abilities

  • Knowledge of computer software programs such as MS Word and Excel.
  • Ability to analyze and audit tenant files.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, proactive nature, and takes initiative.
  • Excellent math and writing skills.
  • Ability to communicate, both orally and in writing, in a positive, diplomatic, friendly yet business-like manner.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to establish rapport with persons of diverse ethnic, racial, and cultural backgrounds.
  • Ability to use web-based tools.

Qualifications:

A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in Business, Finance, Real Estate Management, or related field or bachelor's degree.
