NIFA is pleased to announce a new purchase loan limit for the Beginning Farmer/Rancher program for 2023. This year, the program saw its largest limit increase in years, jumping from $575,400 to $616,100.
The Beginning Farmer/Rancher program at NIFA helps eligible farmers and ranchers access agricultural loans at lower interest rates than those available in the conventional farm credit markets. The purchase loan limit is a cap on the aggregate amount of the loans received by a farmer or rancher through NIFA's program.
